graphics problem

maybe 3d prob

I was playing the game right out of the box. No probs.
Then i updated the game to ver 1.6 Thats when my screen got interesting.
The colors all vanished on my ships. I thought ok time to update the
video drivers. So I got Nvidia 93.71 drivers. Now all I get are cloudy intro screens
that look like actual clouds with splashes of color and frickering lights. Menu buttons are all blacked out. I tried to check my dxdiag program for directx problems and
I get a yes to dx7 3d test. But the dx8 3d and dx9 3d are a spinning cloudy cube. Those tests both worked when I got this computer a year ago. Any thoughts? or did I fry my video card. By the way its a Geforce4 MX Integrated Gpu.
I know I know. It came with the computer.
Thanks

Please go to C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2 (or wherever you installed the game at), open the debug.err file you find there in notepad, and copy/paste the contents into a post here. If this is a DA report, you'll find the debug in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2\DarkAvatar instead. This will give us some technical information that can help troubleshoot your problem.

Be sure to copy the debug immediately after the error occurs; if you start the game again, the debug will be erased and recreated for the new session.

Note: If running on Vista with DA 1.6b2 or later, the debug.err is now located in My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar.
