A simple email if refused wall - blind - icon ect..

Hi,

i think it would be a good idea if you guys emailed us back, when we have had things refused, ie a wallpaper didnt make it ect..

A lot of time and effort goes into these things, and i understand that not all things will make it onto the site, i think it would be a good idea to let us know why, so that we can fix - edit the problem.

Its only fair right?

Thx

Uhm...I'm pretty sure they do give an email when something is rejected and why. Although, wallpapers are no longer straight out rejected, if deemed not fit for the main gallery they appear on the user's personal gallery instead.

Hey,

yeh, i did recieve a mail, but no reason........ i have submitted a blind, and would like to know why it got rejected.

It would be great to fix it and get it uploaded.

Well, I don't deal with wallpapers but I can see why it was rejected. You used two images from Microsoft without permission - a copyright issue.

The WindowBlind is also rejected - an e-mail is on the way to you about that.

Same again, just the usual error message.

ok, will someone PLEASE tell me what to do with the VISTA BRUSHED windowblind ive been trying to up for the past 3 days.

Most frustrating to just get "your blind didnt make it"............ TELL US WHY!

when recieving a rejection.. it is customary to Email an WC mod and ask questions....this will allow you to get direct answers and keep from embarassing any and all parties involved, as could be the case in public (forums) displays. It has been said many times...theres many hundreds and hundreds of uploads a week to WC. for the mods to take the time to Email each and every uploader and personally wright up the specifics would be astronomical in time consumption.. and as many know most WC mods are volinteers, I would not want to bog what free time they get, with mass #'s of letter wrighting. I can see the moderation time jump from 5 days to 2 weeks while they try to personalize every rejection letter....Not to mention the hostility they have recieved over the past from some, has necessitated auto responce Email. Some folks just cant handle rejection well...

But like i said Email a mod and request some reasons of why it was rejected and learn from them...your tone with the mods will determine how quickly you get a responce as well as determine if you merit one at all...Remember it may take a while to get a reply tho, as the mods are real folks with actual lives. Not at the moment. 'Real life' has gotten in the way, what with me being off work the last couple of weeks then my dad (87) going into hospital with a heart attack. It all means recently and in the near future I'm 'unavailable' for moderation duties - just popped in for five minutes to keep up to date.

Normal service will resume eventually
