Can I get a CD if I've already bought GalCiv II via download?

Hi there!

I bought Gal Civ II some time ago, via download and elected not to be sent a copy via CD - at the time I did not see the need.

However, I am now wondering whether or not I can get a copy on CD, or do I need to pay for it again? The reason I ask is that I have had to reinstall the game a couple of times and since I will shortly be moving to base with limited or no external internet facilities I'd like to have my own copy to reinstall as required. (On a side note, can the downloaded demo be activated to be the full game?)

Most likely yes, contact [email protected] about this. You'll have to pay shipping and possibly a small media fee.

Do note that you can also archive from SDC to avoid having to redownload later (this has the advantage of including the latest patch as well). Though you'll still need internet at install time by some means in order to activate (such is the case if you install from a retail disc then patch up as well).

The demo cannot be updated to the full version.
