Assigning An Icon To A Keyboard Key

Firstly I have to say "What and awsome programm!" A big pat on the back to the guys who made it!
So I am running the free object dock (ver. 1.9) on windows XP SP2, and I want to assign a keyboard shortcut to an icon on the dock.
So basicly what I want it to do is: when I press an icon, it basicly presses F8.
Is this possible? Any info would be great!
