A Few Questions on Spies

I had a few questions regarding spies in DA.

1. I know the cost of a spy grows in a staggered (or exponential) pattern. What happens if I have five spies and one is "nullified". Does that make the sixth any less expensive?

2. How do YOU know if you're being spied on and do you have to place the agents in that particular region to nullify the enemy operative?

3. I know the more spies you have on a civilization, the more quickly you gather intelligence. Must you constantly have at least one spy on each civilization to keep updated data?

4. I don't like thi smodel that much and feel like it ought to be tweaked. Anything of that nature in the works?

Thanks for the help!

1. No.

2. You get a drop-down notification on the right side of the screen.

3. I don't believe so, once you accumulate a high level, it stays there.

1) each spy costs more. it doesnt matter what happens to the previous spies. So the sixth will cost what it will no matter what number five did or didn't do.

2) Also, on the economy screen you see a tab for espionage. There yopu will see where all of you spies are and if there are any on you planets. To get rid of them from that screen you just need to pick one thats on a planet of yours and click "nullify" at the bottom. you of course have to have an available spy to do this. As kryo staed you will get a notification between turns that there is a spy on yone of your planets so you won't need to check the economy screen everyturn. Just as you are notified when one of your spies has been nullified.

3)Once you have reached a level of intellegegence with a civ you remain there no matter what, to get to a higher level you do need to have at least one spy present. after you reach Advanced you may remove the spy if he was only there to get information. You shloud leave him if he's actualy there to "sabatoge" something.

4)I like this better than the old way. Its a bit deeper. But if you have specific things you'd like changeed, post them. The devs are always listening.
