The Desktop Customization group grows...

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2235103373

Social Networks are taking off lately, some are even saying they'll be supplanting traditional blogs soon as ways to communicate with groups of like-minded individuals on any given topic.  It's also a good way to expose people to your hobby that wouldn't have otherwise heard of it.  Probably the fastest growing social networking site out there right now is Facebook, appealing to college students and professionals (less teen angst garbage than MySpace).  It's quickly attracting the who's-who of the IT world too.

Not to let this growing platform pass us by, our Internet Evangelist (he has a pointy hat and everything!) has set up a Desktop Customization group on the site.  We want every skinner and UI tweaking junkie on Facebook to join up.  The more places we talk about our hobby (or job for some of us) the more others will hear about it.  And the more people out there who know about it, the better!

Click the link below to go to the Desktop Customization Facebook group and join up.  And pass this around to your friends at other sites, this isn't a WinCustomize-only thing.

Oh, and please post to the "wall" there to let us know who you are.  That way we can connect user names to faces

Island Dog deserves the credit for getting this going.  I'm just helping promote it

Let me also say we welcome people from all communities, and another reminder that we have an "introduce yourself" post where you can let other group members know who you are and where you are from.

Thanks to all the help from Zoomba and everyone else who got this group off to a nice start.
