WBInstall32.exe, wbload.exe Startup
from
WinCustomize Forums
Hi all,
A recent installation of WB5.5 resulted in an infinite cycle of "Windowblinds needs a reboot" whenever I tried to open it. I eventually found out that wbinstall32.exe should be running in order to use the skins, so I figured it should be run during startup (as well as wbload.exe?). (For some reason the installation messed up and did not add the registry keys for startup as expected. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but the problem recurs...)
My question is simple. On which reg keys should I place the wbinstall32 and wbload programs? (I tried HKLM->run for the former and HKCU->run for the latter, but it didn't look right: on logon the Windows classic theme was loaded first before the skin switch commences. I'd like it to start up WITH the skin already in place.)
Thanks a lot.
