Pope John Paul II received the Charlemagne Prize for his outstanding life’s work promoting European understanding in the service of humanity and world peace. The pope has been a chief architect of this new Europe that is emerging. The pope said that he thinks of a Europe without egotistical nationalism. The Charlemagne Prize is named after Charlemagne, the eighth-century leader of the Holy Roman Empire. Charlemagne was actually a very evil man. Everyone should research that murderous time in world history. Pope John Paul II has put on a very good front to a church that has been anything but righteous for the last 17 centuries or so.
Pope John Paul II does not really lead the Catholic Church at this time. Day-to-day decisions have been delegated. The Vatican’s official newspaper is known to have published speeches supposedly given by the pope when, in fact, he has been too ill to deliver them, and has reported meetings with him that never took place. Given the pope's failing health, there will soon be a new pope. Who the next pope will be depends in large part on what the cardinals whose responsibility it will be to elect him decide are the most pressing issues facing the church. I believe the main issues are the weakening of Catholicism in Western Europe and the challenge from radical Islam.
Watch for the next pope to be very charismatic, highly educated, very energetic and utterly great (but secretly satanically evil). He will play a major role in uniting the top 10 nations in Western Europe. The beast of Revelation 17 is about to have its final rise to power in these end times.
