Use Gif versus ICO in DesktopX"

Just another newbie with a question. I've learned to use DesktopX to create a simple object using an ICO file. It looks nice on my desktop; however, I'd like to use an animated GIF instead of an ICO file to give my desktop a little zip. Does anyone know how this can be done? When creating the object, it does not give me a choice of using a GIF for Mouse Over or Mouse Away....thanks for any response you may provide.

take the gif - open it in irfanview (its' free) - irfanview has an option to extract all frames - take the extracted frames and put them together in AniUtil and make a png strip

can't use gif = can use png strips for dtx

aniutil should be in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\DesktopX
