applying skins

from Stardock Forums
when i apply a skin with windowsblinds or theme manager (suites) it applies everything but the skin. my start button and toolbar looks like its from windows 98.
why is this happening?
i had it working fine before and now it wont work.

Are you using the trial version of Windowblinds? After 60 days the program will no longer skin and will revert to the default theme. Uninstalling and reinstalling will not reset the 60 days, and it starts from when the program was first installed, so if you use it, don't use it for a while, then use it again, it will still be counting all those days.

no, its the full version. i had the trial version and it did the same thing but i restarted and then tried again and it worked. now it wont again. ive restarted a few times and still nothing. wallpapers and icons change but not the skin. it happens with suites and windowsblinds

Did you uninstall the trial version, reboot, install the full version, then reboot again?

it didnt work either. i have no idea why its not working. heres a screenshot of what it should be and what it is.
