Windows Blinds REBOOTS Not Working (w/screenshot)

I am trying to apply a skin but it doesnt work, for example if i try to change it to a skin such as Arrow by MikeB314 or Vista 2.4 by Jemaho, or basically any other skin, I click apply and it changes to Windows Classic. Then when i try to open up WindowsBlinds it shows this message. And I have done everything in the message it said to do.

Open the WindowBlinds Configuration screen and click on View my system information.  Copy/paste that info here.

That appears when launching wbconfig.

Try Start -> Run -> services.msc -> OK. Then find the "Stardock WindowBlinds" service and make sure it is set to Automatic and is started.

this suggests you get WB configure open at some point.

on the next go around, instead of trying to choose a skin, click 'view my system information' on the left and copy/paste to here all the info that shows up

yes i downloaded WindowsBlinds at stardock, but skins at wincustomize and deviantart. None of the skins work except Windows XP and Windows Classic.

System Info:

Dell Dimension DE051
Intel(R)
Celeron(R) CPU 2.53GHz
2.53GHz, 512 MB of RAM

- i know my computer sucks lol, n kinda old but thats why i want to skin it up.

The "shareware" version has a time limit. Once you go beyond that time period you will only be able to use the Windows OS skins. If you wish to continue using other skins then you will need to purchase WindowBlinds.

there isnt a 'Stardock WindowBlinds" in the list it gives me

wrong list.

open WB configure, then in the configure window click 'view my system information' on the left panel

At the bottom right of your screen (system tray) there should be an icon called "WindowBlinds 5 (.....) when you put your mouse pointer over it. Double-click that icon and a screen will open. Then as Bichur mentioned "then in the configure window click 'view my system information' on the left panel". Copy/paste the information from there.

so the odds are narrowed down to:

1) you've had a trial version before and reinstalling or installing a new doesn't help

2) you have antivirus or other interfering

or 3)... you edited your post's pic(s), huh?
