Help with 1.6 patch

How do I download the 1.6 patch?

The notice says to use stardock central. When I start stardock central it only shows my registration to GalCivII. I assume I have to register my copy of gold somehow but when I go to "register products" I don't see an entry there for GalCivII Gold. When I try to enter my serial under Dark Avatar I get a popup back saying that the email in their records doesn't match my serial number. I'd be surprised if it did since I bought it off the shelf at Circuit City and I don't believe they ever asked for my email address.

I've got a valid, legitimate copy of GalCivII Gold in my hands and I can't get the patch.

What was so bad about the old days when you could just click on a patch to download it?

That is exactly what you should need to do, so if it isn't working, please contact [email protected]. You should receive an automated response shortly after you send the mail with your ticket number; if you don't, check your spam/bulk folders.

If you can't email support or get no response at all, you can submit a ticket directly through this page. Just click next, then fill out the form and submit it (no need to log in or register there).
