NOOB QUESTION

Hello Group
I purchased the $50.oo "StarDock Central" package just the other night and so I have been learning to use it and its really quite an impressive program, however, I do have a question
and I hoping someone can assist me.

How come when I try to upgrade some of the Themes, Wallpapers, WindowBlinds, and pretty much all of it I click on the upgrade tab and then it takes me to a page where there are beautiful selections, BUT, when I click on them to download it takes me to "CNET" to download them but I have to but another subscription to use it????

So am I doing something wrong or did I get hosed in thinking that I bought a program to use but I still will have to always keep buying add-ons??? please help me if I am wrong, and thanks so much.

Sounds to me like your software is not activated yet....have you activated it using your serial number?

Ya it sounds to me like you are confusing something. Did you buy Object Desktop for $50? The reason I ask is because "Stardock Central" is free. It's a Stardock centric web browser and program manager. Object Desktop which is about $50 is a set of programs you download using Stardock Central. You should make sure before you begin downloading your purchased software that you have de-installed all trial versions of Window Blinds, Icon Packager, DesktopX etc. Look in the left panel of your Stardock Central web browser you should see a list of icons and item names. Click on the one marked Object Desktop. If you don't see the left sidebar panel, click on View in the upper menu and make sure Show Sidebar is checked. That should get you started.

You should also read the email you received from Stardock that was sent after your purchase. Instructions for downloading, installing, and registering your software are contained in that email.

Yes I did, as a matter of fact after getting my email from them I just clicked on the hyperlink and used that particular link for DLing the package. Heres the product that I bought:

"Product Name : Object Desktop: Network Edition"

did I goof up?? it wouldn't be the first time
