ObjectDock 1.9 slows everything down

Hello everyone,

I recently installed the freeware version of ObjectDock, latest version, and it all works great and looks really nice.. So, I am pretty keen on keeping this software, but it slows my entire system down tremendously
I changed every setting I could find, but to no effect.. Even on low quality, my system runs slow. So what can be going on? I checked my video card drivers and everything, but they all work fine. When I close objectdock, my system runs as fast as it should be.

Oh yeah, before I forget; I'm running on a Intel Pentium at 3,06 ghz, 2 gig RAM and an ati radeon RX1650 ... in case it could be of any help

What docklets do you have running?  Those are the most common causes of slow-downs.  Yuu can disable them all in "Dock Settings" or drag them off your dock to see if they are making a difference.

Zubaz, thank you for the (extremely ) fast reply.
I have no doclets running whatsoever at this time, so it's pretty much a clean objectdock install running atm

Btw, objectdock itselfs runs as smooth as could be. I tried changing the priorities of the applications I mostly run; like OPERA, for example, hardly works as it should while objectdock is running, but changing its priority did not make any difference at all?

I was having the same problem till i removed all the "tabbed" docks. When i used started using the "standard" dock and restarted I didnt have any problems. Seems the new tabbed docks just love to eat the CPU on my machine. I'm not a tabbed dock fan anyways so i'm happy. Hope this helps.
