This is outrageous! The IOC needs to seriously consider rethinking where the 2008 Olympics will be hosted. It seems China does not want anyone who doesn't see things their way. Just who in the heck do they think would be eligible to participate? It reads pretty much like if you're communist Chinese, you're ok to participate or cover or even visit the 2008 Olympics.

Thoughts?

As far as I can surmise they want to exclude any western press, most major religious members, and any Democratic representation! Sheesh!

Well I know one kid who is one of the best milers in the Nation right now who is planning on going. Actually he is the best right now period. He's got the fastest mile time in the country. He's a Jesus freak so he might have a hard time being there.

I did hear a few months ago China was enacting new stricter laws to put a stop to any Christian type protestors. Perhaps we're looking at a boycott here? Persecution watch groups have China listed way up there for their persecution of Christians.
