A day in the life of my Grandmother

It isn't all that easy!

Right now most of you bloggers that know im only 15 and still in school are probably wondering why i'm on the computer at 11:30am. Well this very moment I'm sitting at my grandmother's work. Which happens to be State Farm. For any of you who don't know, it's an Insurance place, or w/e you call it. The only reason i'm here is because today and tomorrow is "job shadowing day" for the life planning classes for 9th graders.

Trust me, this isn't a job that I'm interested in. lol. I just picked to come to work with my grandmother because I'm too lazy to call up someone to see if i could shadow them. lol. But you'll have that i guess. So you're probably thinking........aw, that job can't be too hard! Well to tell you the truth it is. Earlier this morning, my grandmother was trying to explain everything to me. I got lost from the word go! Then she tried to tell me how do file an auto quote. Well you see everything is abbreviated so I had not a clue what half of the things meant so she was telling me all these numbers to put in certain spots. Then she told me to pick out a car i would like to have for my first car when i get my licinse. Well some of you know that I want a new 2003 blue Ford Mustang, but like im really going to be able to afford that for my first car! So I chose a 1995 Ford Mustang. Well after some key punching and a few more numbers, it came up and showed that I would be paying $79.03 per month for car insurance. So I'm thinking I might want to get a job that pays more than just bailing hay and straw in the summer. lol. I was think more along the lines of a local grocery store or something.

Now, one of my requirements for my grade for this was to help assist with the work if at all possible. Well I got stuck with the great and exciting job of addressing birthday cards that the company sends to all of its policy holders. Let me tell you, if you ever get stuck with this you're gonna get writers cramp after awhile! Trust me! It even kinda hurts my hands and fingers typing this! lol. Lets see how many did I have to fill out.......hmmmm...hold on a sec......let me count them.........oh here we go......a total of 91is as far as i've gotten and there's still like 150 more. And these are just the people that have birthdays from the June 1-30! It's crazy! Why can't they just have one of their computers print them out. It would be much easier. lol. Well so far I haven't had anything else to do. And hopefully I can get these cards finished! But I only got like an hour. My grandmother gets off early today at one and it's about noon. So thankfully i don't have to stay here all day. But I do have to go back to school! Oh well, what can ya do? Well I'd better go so I can finish up the 150 cards that are left!

Untill next time........if i don't die from filling out all these cards,

Yes Zoo, I did manage to make it back for the last class of the day. Only because that is like my fav. class though. lol.

MP~ I'm kinda wondering where Capt. has went. I talk to him at school and on the internet, but i don't know why he hasn't been on here. I think part of it has to do with his mom not wanting him to get on JU. He also told me that he's a slow reader so it takes him awhile to get around to things. Or perhaps he might be on one of his little adventures, and he'll bring back a story to share with all of us!
