SYSTEM TRAY NOT SHOWING IN TASKBAR IN ANY APPLIED THEMES...

Hi, I would be grateful if someone could advise me - I am running Windows XP and have been using the trial version of WindowBlinds up until today when I purchased and installed Object Desktop including WindowBlinds 5.

Now I am finding, that which ever theme I apply, the system tray is not visible on the taskbar.

I have no idea what the problem is, or how to fix it - any suggestions most gratefully received !!!

Many thanks.

1) did you uninstall trial before installing purchased.
2) open WB config, Override default settings, check setting for taskbar size, best to set it to skin decides size, sounds like it may be set to small size.

Hi Cavan1, many thanks for your response. I have the taskbar setting to let the theme decide, however, I did not uninstall the trial version of WindowBlinds before using Stardock Central to download and install the newest WindowBlind update to 5.5 - what should I do now... uninstall completely and then redownload and install? Many thanks, Cath.

Yep. If you have a reg. cleaner, like CCleaner run it. Reboot between every step.
I would uninstall, reboot, run reg. cleaner, reboot, then reinstall.
