Just got the game, have a simple question I hope.

Hey everyone. I just found out about this game by running into a blog about it (thank nuklearpower.com for letting me find it) I know, thats not important. Here is my issue. I found and bought the gold edition of the game (with both dread lords and the dark avatar expansion) I installed it, it runs and there was no problem registering it.
But when I go to the campaign option from the main menu, the only thing i can select is the Dark avatar campaign. Where in the world is the dread lords? Isn't it the original, so shouldn't it be the first one if i have to beat one to get the other? Its suppose to be there..what am I missing or..what utterly newbie mistake or overlook have i done? I really wanted to play the dread lords campaign -first- (you know cause its more fun to follow a story in order?) Help?
note I -did- look for this in the faq for a similar topic..either i missed the obvious again or no one else has been dumb enough to have this issue.
