New User -- Couple of questions I need answered

Using windows Vista 64bit.
I noticed the start menu launcher doesn't work with Windows Vista 64bit? Any ETA when this will work?

Second, How do I keep track of running programs/apps? I am so use to the old style windows that had on my bar the list of web browsers, email, apps, etc that were open. Do I resort to Alt-Tab now?

Third, how do I get a task bar docket installed so I know what is running on my taskbar?

Last, Where do users place there tab bar? I have my dock at the bottom center on autohide, and the tab on the top. I notice having it on top pushes down my web browser to make room for it.

Thanks

Don't know

The default normal dock shows all your running tasks. You can group them or not.  Click on them to minimize/maximize.

You don't need a docklet, there's a dock just for that.

I have four docks.  On top is running apps, on right is one group oif common apps.  I have a systray tab in the lower right bottom.  I have another tab dock with different apps in the center bottom.  I do not have space resevered set for any of my docks so they don't push my windows up/down/left/right.

Where is the "dock" for the task bar?

I created a new dock, went to the config and set it like the image below then dragged off the static icons I didn't want.
