change letters' color, bottom's explorer bar

hi

does anyone of you know how to change

the black letters to white letters?

I had a look at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors
but this is just what you are able to change under desk.cpl.
apart from that every "0 0 0" value I changed to "255 255 255" and afair (was some time ago) it did not change.

thanks for reading

If your talking about a WB theme all you need to do is open SKS, load the theme and change the font color for.. Controls > Statusbar pane > Text Color. Save and apply the changes in WB.

I don't think SKS will help much if you're trying to edit msstyles...it's for Windowblinds stuff mainly. And yes SkinStudio has a free version.

sigh -_-; what a pain
okay not that much. it also was fun, somehow... :^
i tried ResEdit and at the beginning i changed all "0 0 0" to "255 0 0" and got a pretty weird result, so i went trough the code and there was textcolor missing in of the sections.
the section's name was [status] and just added textcolor.

according to link SKS is able to edit .msstyles.

Hey vStyle I have seen your clockwork orange theme. pretty stylish.
but I dislike big icons. I need/prefer everything small.

oh of course

thank you for your help

Only once it has converted it to a .wba, which is a Windowblinds skin. Can't edit it to continue using it as a .msstyles.

The clockwork orange theme has no bearing on your iconsize my friend.

Also, you will have to convert it to a WBA before you edit it like Cavan1 said.

If it is a visual style and you want to keep it that way , alter the same image text color in Stylebuilder.
