Update (Nimbin's Surgery)

hello everyone, i am posting this for nimbin as he is still in too much pain to do anything himself. the surgery went well and he seems to be doing ok but as to be expected is in a whole lot of pain and constantly on drugs to minimize this. his leg was removed six inches above the knee and so far there is no sign of infection or other complications and with any luck he should be able to start eating soon at the moment all he does is sleep or vomit but the doctor said that will pass. ity is quite frightening to see him laying there with lines and tubes running into him from all directions but he wanted me to let you all know that he is doing ok and will try to pop in and let you know the details in a few days if he is up to it.

......i had no idea that in losing a limb your body goes through so much, and so many reactions... i guess its the body adapting to the change....hope he feels good soon....
