Facing Ourselves

With palms together,
Good Morning All,

The moon last night was wonderful. Large and bright, it shone until storm clouds moved in to hide it. Yet, there it was. Even with the storm, shining brightly. Many of us are facing changes in our lives. Just as the moon faced clouds and continued its function, so must we.

There is no doubt this can be difficult, even frightening. Yet, if we enter the change itself, there is no change. If we let go of our thoughts about how we should be, how others should (or will) see us, or even how we see ourselves, then fear falls away and is replaced by intense curiosity.

Managing this curiosity is the real challenge!

We should practice to allow ourselves to be our original nature: a sort of natural mirror which reflects clearly what is there before us, yet allows what is before us to enter us, and more still, doesn't hold on to it. Our senses detect but do not hold: all of our senses, even our mind.

When we do not hold close a thought, the moment we experience has an opportunity to expand infinitely.

Be well.
