Where's that dog gone WBA file?

Can't find WBA file

I installed windowblinds on my wifes computer and saw she had a theme not listed on my desktop. Its called Aero Style,a vista look a like theme.

So where did Windowblinds install it so that I can put it on my other computer?

I looked in the C:\Program Files\Stardock\Windowblinds. I looked in Documents and Settings under all names. NO JOY.

Did a search for ALL *.WBA.

Found the file on my wifes comuter but the extension seems to be *.WB4 (windowblinds 4?) She has the latest installed windowblinds 5.5.

: When WindowBlinds skins are installed, they are extracted to directories of the same name within the WindowBlinds directory (c:\program files\stardock\windowblinds). There aren't any copies kept anywhere else, however.

If this was just one skin that you were missing, you should still be able to download it without a problem.

The .wb4 files are files found within any given WB skin's directory that I believe just contain some settings information (ex. "Argos.uis_Buttons.WB4")

You can also just zip the subfolder that contains the skin, then unzip it in the same place on the other end. It should work fine.

Well lets see if I can make sense out of this. I feel like I'm I'm living in bazzro world here. I looked at her c:\program files\stardock\windowblinds, copied the allusive file over and because its a wb4 extender, its not going to be an option. I don't get it. Same program installed on both. And yet, this one showed up on hers and I can't download the skin even. Aren't all the skins that install with Windowblinds available to download individually?

PERPLEXED.

oh well....

Thanks guys for looking at this. I feel like the monkey in the zoo.

If you copy the Aero Style folder over, then when you go into WindowBlinds and click Rebuild List, it should pop up.
