hey, i just ordered my copy of galatic civilizations 2, and i looked on the site and theres hundreds of mods, is there any that i should download straight away?

and i've just looked at some of the custom ship designs in the forum, and they look awesome, but can anyone create ships like that or does it involve modding?

I recommend playing the standard game first. Save mods for when you get bored with the game.

You can make most of those ships without modding.

you won't be able to make exact replicas of ships from tv shows that have smooth surface curves like Mimbari ships from Babylon5 but any ships without smooth surface curvature, you can make! enjoy.
