what is the total price?

I think the product pricing in it self is all right, although it's in the upper range of what I would pay for customizing my desktop. I think the renewal price however is a bit too high.
What concerns me the most is that it seems like you have to have a $20 yearly subscription to WinCustomize as well to be able to download other user generated themes (beyond the first 20MBs). With object desktop that is $55 a year to keep the software updated and to be able to download content.
Is it correct that you have to have another $20 subscription to download more than 20MB of content?

I could be wrong - but I believe as long as your status is 'current customer'(as in active product) you don't have a download limit.

If you have purchased Object Desktop, then you shouldn't have any problems with download limits.  If you purchased a product with an e-mail that is different than your WinCustomize registration, then you will need to cross-reference your accounts.
