Yes, your genius at large has figured out how to eliminate terror and the wild college shooting.

It is obvious. Close all of our schools to foreign students. The attacks on 9/11 were done by people on student visas, the guy that did the shootings was here on a student visa. Terrorist go to our schools and learn engineering so they can build bigger and better bombs. Lets stop this silliness by keeping our education system to ourselves. How many lives could we have saved if we had just refused to educate these people? Almost every terror group in the world has been educated in America, learning liberalism and after they have learned what liberals believe they want to destroy us.

Next we need strong gun control laws. We need to teach firearms training in elementary school. We should make it mandatory that all American citizens between the ages of 18 and 60 to carry loaded firearms. Gun control as defined as good sight alignment, good sight picture putting well placed rounds exactly where you want them. Every state where guns have been taken away from the people gun crimes go up. You don’t have people shooting up schools where the people carry guns. Train our children to shoot and when they are adults make them carry guns. It will also solve the illegal immigration problem because only citizens will be allowed to carry firearms you will be able to see the illegal’s easily because they are not carrying a weapon. Two problems solved with one simple law.
I remember living in Montana and listening to the news as I love to do in the morning a new law went into effect back in 1974 I think, all people age three and up had to register their handguns but rifles did not have to be registered. Now three is a little young in my way of thinking I think age 7 is the age where a child should register his own handgun. I just can’t see a three year old buying a handgun. Where would he get the money to afford one? See, I am mindful of child labor laws.

What's funny is there was 2 shootings, that day. the first one in the dormitory, the second one in the main buildings (or so I remember).

The 1st shooting wasn't really reported because policemen though it was a domestic problem, and would not get out of control.

Now, if you have more gun on the market, and everybody has them, you just invite to more domestic "problem" ending with guns. Thu, you de-sensibilise(?) people to guns "accidents", murders and such. If someone kills another, it's gonna be as normal as any other crime, while it shouldn't.

Someone on a rampage with a knife isn't going to kill 30 peoples.

People in Canada that are against Gun Control were quick to point out that the man who shot people at Dawson College had a LEGAL gun, and it did not prevent the shooting. However, that legal gun (in order to be legal), had a maximum load of 5 bullets. 5 shots, opposed to about 25 in the original gun.

Now, he had to reload every 5 shots in his killing spree, and manage to kill 1 person. That's not a lot, compared to most shooting in American schools

Lets take your logic or lack of logic and think it through.
When everyone had guns there were less gun crime. When children are given gun safety classes there are less accidental shootings. My kids went to the range at least twice a year. What I noticed was that my kids did not care all that much about weapons but their friends who did not get weapons training were always amazed when they saw my pistol laying around. Children are curious once you take away the mystery a gun is as dangerous as a paper airplane.
Using your logic more people are stabbed to death than shot so we should outlaw all knives.
In Great Briton they outlawed guns and gun crime dropped like a stone. Deaths by bludgeoning skyrocketed should the Brits then outlaw hammers? If you have people that are going to kill people the instrument used does not matter.
I like chemistry I know a lot of ways to kill people without using a gun, I can go to any grocery store and buy enough stuff to kill 10,000 people and not spend over 20 dollars. Not a firearm in sight. People that want to kill people will not be stopped all you are doing by outlawing guns is changing the method of death. The stuff that will kill up to 10,000 people is totally legal. The deaths would take days and it will be painful but they will still be dead.
You use the argument of a crime of passion and someone uses a gun to settle the argument. Most crimes of passion are committed with knives not guns. One woman killed her husband with a screw driver. Why? Because it was handy.
I know how to kill you with a paperclip does this mean that we should outlaw them? Lets boil this down to the common denominator almost all murders are committed with hands with or without a tool hands are almost always used, so we should just cut off everyone’s hands and we would end all murders. I am sure that some percentage of murder is done with pharmaceuticals’ so we should outlaw all drugs. The misuse of a tool is not a good reason to outlaw the tool. People still use rocks to kill people so we should outlaw all rocks, bricks, and dirt which can be made into rocks and bricks. Now that we have eliminated all dirt on the earth we will be safe. Homeless, exposed to the elements, but safe from murder.

True, but a college student with a basic knowledge of chemistry could have wiped out the entire campus. a medical student could do the same thing. No guns or knives needed.

Gun Control works


Gun control works because the majority of the population doesn’t break the laws of the land. It was illegal to kill those people he broke the law bringing a gun on campus so that is one law broken twice. Then he killed 31 people breaking the law 31 more times, he committed suicide which is also against the law so in this one act he broke 34 laws. Having an outlawed weapon would have only been one more law he would chose to break. A person who chooses to break the law will break all the laws he wants without fear. Do you think that he worried about breaking the law against bringing firearms on campus when he plans on killing a bunch of people and himself? Do you think that he feared the law against killing himself because if he failed he would go to jail for attempted suicide? Did the death penalty enter into his thought process when his plan was to kill himself and take a bunch of people with him?
In this case and all the other school shooting cases the killer kills himself or is killed by police. The last time we had this problem was back in the 60’s, the man had a brain tumor which was the cause of the spree. Most mass killings are a result of mental problems. The killers on 9/11 only used knives and took out almost 3,000 people. So your argument of a rampage with a knife is not all that valid. 19 people with box cutters killed 2500 people on 9/11 that averages out to 131 people killed per knife. That was about 100 more people killed with a knife than in that school with a gun. Wait more than that because he had two guns.
