Internet explorer doesn't appear in the dock when minimised

when i start IE 7 it doesn't appear in the dock as a running task, and when minimised it goes straight to the taskbar and bypasses the objectdock.

how can i solve this?

free or plus version of ODock?

do you have 'show running tasks' checked in the settings?

ok, something very odd has just happened. i turned off UAC and miraculously it has started to work!!!!!!!!

i also turned disabled a couple of services but i cant see how they would have affected it.

turning off UAC is proving to be a good move!
