Logon Studio isn't affecting login screens.

For some reason, changing the Login screen in Login Studio doesn't change the actual Login screen.

I can choose any of the ones I've downloaded/default ones. The preview in the little window appears correctly. When I click APPLY the default windoze behavior happens (ie: the screen clears to the background image, and I get the windows box saying it's been locked; not the Login Studio themed one).

It just doesn't seem to be changing anything. And yes, even after a reboot.

This is a fairly new install of windows (as in, the last 72 hours) so I can't imagine I've downloaded something to crush it.

I run Spybot; Zone Alarm, Avast; I doubt any of those muck with anything, but you never know.

Anyone have any hints?

do you have fast user switching tuned on?
show the welcome screen?

thanks! you are absolutely correct. apparently the netgear wireless usb "modem" that i recently bought / installed disables both fast user switching AND welcome screen.

which, i feel is quite lame. but that's a topic for another time.
