Urgent No Windows Login Screen

Hey guys I need some help really fast please. I applied this skin http://thevistaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=11282 and it ran fine. On my next startup, my windows loading screen ran like normal, and when I was supposed to see the login screen, I get a mouse pointer and for a few seconds, I get the Aero loading circle that spins. I have full control of the mouse but there is no login screen. I am somewhat computer literate, so I treid to reboot in safemode, same problem, then i tried last known good config. Which I thought might reset to my last sucessful login, but no such luck. I then tried booting from a second harddrive I have that has an older OS on it, but nothing there either, and I still saw the vista loading screen, which was also odd. I then tried inserting my Vista x64 OS cd and tried to boot from that... Still nothing. I have tried all the F keys and the Ctrl Alt Del at the black login screen and nothing. I would really appreciate any help that someone could provide. This is really urgent.
I am running Winows Vista Ultimate on X64

Just reinstall the OS, well thats probably what I would do, sounds like something is majorly borked in your install.

Quoted from that particular themes description on DA "I ADVISE ONLY CONFIDENT EXPERIENCED VISTA USERS USE THIS METHOD OF THEMEING...INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK"

What happened when you booted from the OS installation disc? Did you see the options for either install or repair?

If you did not get to the options, then I would try to rule out hardware connections first, including:

- check keyboard and mouse connections

- check video adapter seating (if not integrated)

- reseat the memory stick

- check all your connections on the MoBo

By installing this theme, you effectively have hacked your Windows install. If you didn't patch the files correctly, then you have hosed your install. Doing a Repair install should fix this.

No I am American, and I fixed it. Had to change my boot order in BIOS to get it to boot from the windows DVD then I did a startup repair which replaced the modified .dll's for me. Worked fine, but I can't get the skin to work now lol.!!!

From the site:-

THIS THEME HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED ON MY PC!
all files work fine for me and have been scanned for virus's
however I DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY CHANGES OR DAMAGE TO YOUR SYSTEM.
I ADVISE ONLY CONFIDENT EXPERIENCED VISTA USERS USE THIS METHOD OF THEMEING.
so basically...

INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK

Didn't that set alarm bells ringing? I would not advice anyone modify their system files in this way, it 's asking for trouble.

In general downloading replacement files for any of your Windows system files is a very unwise thing to do unless they are supplied by Microsoft (I.e. Service Packs)

In your case it sounds like you probably installed a 32 bit file onto a 64 bit OS.
