I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the amount of points you have to buy technologies when creating a custom race.

Yes. It's set in the race configuration xml.

Um...actually, I just glaced at another post somewhere which implies I could be wrong, it may be hardcoded! But I'm pretty sure I saw custom points set there.

It is hardcoded in DL. In DA, however, the setting in the race file is respected by the game.

Awsome to hear, Kryo! I remember trying to change it in DL but it didn't work.. and never tried it in DA.
