[Problem] IE7 No Tabs with WB 5.5

I recently upgraded to WB 5.5 (5.50.023 to be precise). While WB is in use I have no tabs available in IE7. I have seen a few older posts in regards to this same issue with WB 5.1, but nothing about 5.5 and I have been unable to find out any way to resolve the issue.

Is this a WB 5.1 bug? Or is there a setting that I am missing some where?

I don't think the problem is with them not being skinned, it's that they aren't there at all. Is that right?

Correct. The tabs don't display. I don't even have the option to open a new tab as it is greyed out in the file menu.

tools > internet options > general tab >> tabs = settings --- make sure 'enable tabbed browsing' is checked.

yeah, sounds like their turned off, works fine on mine.

Also make sure you have not disabled toolbar skinning in WB. 

This can be changed in 5.5 via the following registry key :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\WindowBlinds\wb5.ini\WBLiteFX\ToolON

It needs to be set to 1 which is the default.

Tabbed browsing is enabled. I only have this issue when I have a Windowblinds skin enabled. If I unload Windowblinds everything works fine.

Neil - Thanks for the tip. The registry value you mentioned did not exist. After creating it tabbed browsing is now working again.
