Rejected, Why?

I was curious as to why my Apollo v.2 and Orbit dreams where rejected? I believe I followed all the Guildlines.

Is there an email where I can make these requests?

You should have gotten an email with the reason.  Check you spam filters.

I don't see it filtered out. I got 3 dreams rejected, but only one of them got an explanation. It was from zoomba about my Copper Mountain Dream.

Does "Unfortunately your upload has not met our guidelines and has been rejected." count as an explanation?

Sorry, I had the email typed but didn't click send.  You have an explanation from me headed towards your inbox now.

TheMasterBaron,

Well, guess I downloaded it at the right time. Got it before it was pulled.
Nice work, much better than the first one. Do you have a website of your own that these can be downloaded from?

It wasn't pulled, it just has a date of Feburary 13, 2007 and so it dropped to the bottom of the "Newest Dreams" category.

Here it is: Apollo V.2

So, what was the reason for putting it up, then yanking it. The Earth looked better than the one in Stardocks latest.

Take TheMasterBaron's Earth, toss it into the Desktop Earth dynamic Dream and throw in some crisper star backgrounds and have the clouds move, I'd be much happier than I am now with Desktop Earth.

Having said that, I know better dynamic dreams are coming and I'm sure Stardock is reading and taking notes.

TheMasterBaron, if you could static the image so the Sun, the Moon and the Earth all did their thing, the Earth rotating, the Moon rotating and the same with the Sun only all in the same shot using the same awesome graphics you have used for this version 2, it would be perfect!

Please stop rotating them around each other

viking396,

I do have a version that orbits the earth and does not move. The moon and sun still come and go in the scene, but the earth stays put. You'll have to pull it from my website as WinCustomize would not accept it because it's too close to theirs.

If I don't swing the camera around the earth, you can't see the differences between day and night as the sun would always be in the same place.

TheMasterBaron, I know, sometimes this can be a good thing.

I think that they are to picky with there rejects.. Mine was a HD Loop and theirs a Triggered Animated dream,, but because it looks close it get's rejected.. I have the TheMasterBarons Earth Dream and also have one close but i would not reject it because it's close.. I would just allows all of use the enjoyment of trying different versions. Stardock needs to support the community better in this way.. I didn't buy Vista to be nickle and dimed from Stardock.. Give the people more options and more posts otherwise this site will lose interest among the community.. There are already other sites to post this content.. I would like to see this site do well, but it seems to be taking a turn for the worse..
