no .uis file in this skin..

1. You somehow have gotten your picture files associated to open with Windowblinds.

You need to reassociate your picture with a program that can open them.

A shot in the dark...

1. Right click on any photo. Select properties. When the window opens you will see "Opens with" and a button that says change. Click on the change button and select Microsaoft picture and fax viewer. Make sure the checkbox is checked that says...always use selected program, etc.

If you have another program you use for picture viewing then select that instead of Microsoft picture and fax viewer.

2. Choose another skin. The Author of the skin made some mistakes. It is probably a darker skin in which case you might often get the Yahoo mail problem. Lighter skins will have dark text for that area.

right click one of the pics you want to open > properties > general tab

Change the 'opens with' association to the program of choice.
check the little box to 'always use the selected program to open this type of file'

repeat as needed.


fonts/colors are best managed in Skin Studio (so changes will stick)

To do this Right click a photo file > Open with > then click "choose a program" Then selct an appropriate program from the list. (I would suggest the default windows viewer) then choose "always use the selected program to open this kind of file"
