Stardock Central fails to install WB on Vista.

Currently, Stardock Central fails to install WB5 (latest beta). It downloads the installation files 100%, then immediately restarts the download, and never gets to the extraction/installation phase. This is driving me crazy. I am able to download and install all other of my licensed products, but can't install WB. Yesterday, I received a message that I had gone beyond my Activation count. I uninstalled all Stardock products, then reinstalled SDC this morning, hoping to reinstall WB today. Still no joy. Hopefully, someone will be able to point me in the right direction? are you using a 64 bit version of vista? if so, wb does not work on vista yet. if you're using 32 bit, i don't have the answer.

If the message you received said "Maximum activations reached" and was for WindowBlinds, then this is your problem. In that case, you will need to send an e-mail to Stardock tech support and/or post a thread requesting that your activation account be reset.

Posting here may get your account reset before the weekend is over, otherwise you will need to wait for the support e-mail to be addressed. Stardock will be happy to reset any authentic account.
