Postion of rating and Download Button

I wonder, if I am alone with that issue and I wanted to post this for a long time now. The rating and the Download buttons on skins are not very well positioned. As I am a "quick clicker" 1 of 2 times it happens to me that I want to go to the download button and mouseover the ratings. Of course when I notice that not quick enough, I click the rating as it gets in the way of the download button and give the thing a 2 star rating unintentionally. Is there any chance to change that ?

you can always re-rate it, I do agree though its a bit of a pain.

Yea. It's not an ideal position. Why not just make each star clickable without the dropdown menu?

Carl . . just for giggles, how would you do it?

I'd just show the five stars and the user would click on the rating they want.  Maybe change the state after voting.
I don't see the point in two clicks (the first to open the ratings, one to choose the rating) of the current design but I assume the web team knows more than I do.

I would just reposition the two elements to be out of the way of each other.

I agree Zubaz, perhaps its a matter of space, or perhaps they were being overly creative, sometimes KISS is better.
