Out of curiousity.....

Not sure I understand how this works...Wincustomize is a site that promotes customization of computers right? Without singling anyone out or disrespecting anyone who has been promoted, why is it that artists seem to take the longest to be promoted? Yet, anyone who helps out a lot in the forums,but has submitted very little work is quickly promoted? I mean there are those who have submitted maybe 10 things and here I am about to crossover into the top 100 artists hall of fame , yet we have the same rank "apprenticeship"? IMO, artists are the ones who should be considered apprentices,journeymen and masters...should there not be a different type of promotion for forum helpers? i just dont get it and would like to know why this is, please.....

Wincustomize.com is a Community, it is not simply a repository for skin/image uploads.

Promotion within this community is NOT solely based on how many uploads one makes...or how many downloads he gets from them.

Community attitude is equally important [if not maybe more-so...as genuinely poor attitude can see you leaving the site permanently].

Promotions are based on an overall contribution to Wincustomize.com [and to a certain degree also other sites as well...within the skinning 'world']....

Congratulations! I don't think I've ever been in the top 100 of anything. Well, anything I can talk about here. And that wouldn't have happened if there weren't pictures. And I still think they were too blurry to tell it was me for sure. And the monkey wanted the vodka!
