Windowblinds 5.5 and web blinds

Heya guys. Well, after reading yesterday's article about making xp look like vista, I took the plunge and hopped to it (GREAT article btw!) I have vista ultimate on my desktop, but my laptop can't handle it, so I went ahead and installed things. Now my vid card in this lappy is only a 16M ATI. The windowsblinds skin wasn't working so hot, no translucent effect.. so I went ahead and upgraded to WB 5.5 It did the trick and my xp looked awesome, just like Vista... but to my dismay.. I suddenly couldn't get IE7 to work for nothing. I went and picked up mozilla thinking I could live without IE. Well, that was fine, but being I hate not knowing why something doesn't work, I hopped back on my lappy and poked around. I uninstalled IE7 and rebooted.. and bang.. IE was back online again.. but the blind was different.. and when I went to make it aero glass, it wasn't translucent again!! ARGH! So I took this as a hard hint and uninstalled web blinds.. ok, kewl.. translucent again AND online.. but wonder if IE7 would work again?? So I went ahead, reinstalled that and voila.. here I am! I'm not sure if there is anything in these forums about issues like mine, if not.. hope this is a good heads up for those who may run into any problems!!
