Sorry, but there was more text in the above post but I just learned (the hard way) the angle brackets seem to be parsed as some sort of redirection on this board.

I played today's internal build for some hours. It was wickedly more intelligent than previous builds. The difference is greater than the first GalCiv beta to beta 4Z combined. I saw one Drengin overlord with 18 moves go and in a single turn wipe out all the defenses of 4 star systems. In beta 4Z, it would have destroyed one ship in orbit and sat there.

Will it need a lot of re-balancing or it just behaving as you would like it to all along?

It's behaving as it should. Human players, after all, attacked multiple things per turn. The AI won't have to rely so much on fighters now. It can focus more on building capital ships.
