Firefox not getting skinned!

I have been using WindowBlinds for a few months now with no problems.  A few weeks ago, I reformatted my computer, reinstalled WB and it continued to work fine.  They other day I noticed that in Firefox, the title bar was no longer getting skinned.  I tried updating WB, unloading and reloading it, rebooting my computer, and unloading my FF extensions, all to no avail. I'm running the most up to date Firefox release, as well as the most up to date WB.  It all worked a few days ago, and I don't know what happened to it!

The only thing I can think of is to make sure it's not excluded from being skinned.

I don't have a per-application setting for it, so that's not it. I also just noticed that certain skins will work properly and others won't. The skin I am using is Acrylic, which doesn't work, nor does Impulse. Other skins like Largo or Light Blue II work just fine. Does anybody know why that might be happening with only specific skins?

swinkysan, I just tested Impulse see & you are right...it does not skin FF or XnView...but skins everything else, including Rightclick & Foobar sooo it must be the blinds themselves, its not just a FF issue...I even changed FF themes bc sometimes that works...not this time...hmmm... And I do not have any programs excluded either. Just to note the age of the skin makes no difference...I use some made in 2002 with no problems.

You say it worked a few days ago...wonder if The newest FF update to 2.0.0.3 could have changed anything. Just to test you could uninstall this version of FF & download version 1.5...its still available at their site...

I have had the same problem, I have been using Stealthos and everything was fine until I updated firefox. So now it must have to be with the latest firefox update!
It is only the titlebar that seems to be affected.

Maybe checking out the FF forums or bug reports will explain some of the changes made.

And XnView has been updated recently too..

Running FF 2.0.0.3 here, Acrylic, Impulse and StealthOS all work fine. If you are getting just the classic titlebar restore then maximize window, if getting no titlebar right click FF taskbar button and restore then max. FF. This is an issue that is believed to be in FF.

Is this the same issue?

Don't think so, with no skin names on other thread hard to check but it looks like may be skin where author did not skin and has removed the default luna for the non per pixel parts. Even for a WB5 skin only some WB4 parts must be skinned, needed for MDI windows.

Thanks Cavan1, if I only knew it was that simple to remedy!

You're welcome everyone.

Why someone would remove the non PP frames i have NO idea.

Hey vStyler, one of the skins S J N has the issue with ( from thread linked by MySecret ) is Texas Hold Em, a Stardock Premium suite, so the non PP frames would not be an issue with it. I have Texas hold Em, when the render I am running finishes I am going to test to see if can reproduce S J N's problem.

The non PP frames was just a first thought, as some beginners may not realize they are needed for a WB 5 skin.
