I agree with you AzDude, I rate them the same, River Flowing is nice, Looks Natural

Well, I disagree on the orange dream. I very much like the "Plasma" dreams here on this website ("Blue plasma" is my default desktop - "Exotic Plasma" if I'm feeling spunky). This new orange dream is basicly just "Orange Plasma". I like it!

I rated all four with 5 stars, however I deducted 2.3 stars for Dreams two and four respectively for not looking so great beside my other Dreams in their still format under the Desktop Backgrounds menu (color clashing) and deducted 1.23 stars for three and one (in that order) for downloading so slow as a whole (or group). That, and taking into consideration the 55% CPU usage (average) that Dreams one, three and two are taking, I added in a factor of 1.2 stars, with a penalty deduction for Dream three which is offset by an extra credit of 2.9 stars to the MS Dream team for including the Raindrop Dream. But that might be penalized by .0976 stars for every day they stalled to get that particular Dream out to the public.
Once I figure all this out, I'll let you know how many stars each Dream gets.

i dont know bistro but i think that was very clear - well said - and right on - good job and 5 stars for your comment ........except for the deductions of course for length and how many times you used numbers and the letters A and S except for that you ran all your words together and the fact you didn't mention anything about the color RED ..................... Sooooooo total up the 2 and carry the 4 = minus 2 stars ( see i give the final totals unlike you ) ...sorry but i thought you scored better .... if it was up to me I would have scored you better ....... opppssss is is up to me ..anyway GL with your totals !!

Well..Lets see....
I was favoring the forest scene until watched it closely for a few minutes..there is a slight camera movement that ruines the effect, well..if you notice it- it does..

My Next favorite is of course the raindrops...The plasma/fire is ok I suppose..and the bee..well..dont care for bee's much anyway, that one went "Hasta La Bye, Bye" in a hurry...

To Sum it up..

Rain - 5

Forest - 4

Fire - 3

Bee - 3 <~~~~~~~Cyaaaaaa

Anyone notice the car driving by in the Rain drops one?..

BTW, It also "Jitters" a bit where the loop ends/begins like the river one, but it is allot less noticible...

So I have been told, it's a curse really..LoL

Anyway, I really doubt MS got these things from Stardock, reason being is- Stardock is *NOT that friggin sloppy (Sorry MS,but Cmon?)

I could be wrong, But I doubt it.. Every "Dream" that I have tried from Stardock is definitely much better...

I wonder when MS will release the final ver of Dreamscene. Hopefully they will be able to cut down even more on resource use, etc.

Well...if they act like they did with Halo 2 for the PC, we oughta be seeing the final version of Dreamscene in....oh....around June of 2009.   

I used my trusty sliderule and came out with the following:

Raindrops: 3
Forest: 2
Fire: 1
Bee: Minus 2.5

Watch the river flowing. Speeds up, then slows down. Guess that's the only way to get it to loop right.

This is why we need a website like WC because everyone is different with diff likes and dislikes - and why 10 people can look at the same thing and all see something different - fresh and new ideas will always be needed here at WC to keep up with the demand

I like the bees. I would like the raindrop one but it looks really bad at my resolution. The others are forgettable.
