Annoying widget problems

I'm fairly new to this whole customization thing, but I think I have a good handle on the basic nuts and bolts of the whole thing. However, I continue to have annoying problems with widgets at startup. Weather widgets randomly stop displaying half of thier info, this has happened with 3 different weather widgets. Also, the colors on some widgets randomly disappear leaving them with white backgrounds...strange.

Please Help

It is best if you name the widgets you are having trouble with
...just wonder if the weather widgets are being affected by your online connection.
