A couple of questions about GCII

I know its none of my business(believe me, I know it isn't) but I'm curious so here are my questions:

Q1: How many sales did GCII make?(overall)
(This has roots in the uncertain fate of multiplayer which is still uncertain)


Q2: What was the total budget for GCII?(I want to compare it to some other good games and disapointments. As the american phrase goes "biggest bang for my buck" maybe?)


Q3: What inspired you to make it in the first place?
(I mean what kind of person goes "I just had a great idea for a turn-based space strategy game in which you are in control of humanity's destiny. Here is a quick summary of what its gonna be like:

The year is 2178, the Terran Alliance has invented a new technology -- Hyperdrive. But the secret has leaked to the other civilizations starting a race for all the inhabitable worlds in the galaxy! As leader of United Earth, you must research new technologies, build an economy, create a powerful military force, all the while carefully balancing your political, diplomatic and trade skills." while sleeping in history class.

And a couple of other questions I can't think of right now.
Again, Just saying that I am just curious.

For future reference:
You only need to hit the Post button once.
If it takes a while, simply hit the Refresh in the browser, instead of hitting Post twice.

And if you are curious about GalCiv sales, why wouldn't it be 'your business'? (since you obviously are contributing a +1 to the total sales number, and as such are part of the GalCiv community... partners... alliance... family...)

There are no secrets as far as that is concerned, and the devs have mentioned the answer to your question in a few threads. I can't remember which exactly, but they are around. One fairly recently, as a matter of fact.

And I am curious as well; what was your third question?
