Windows Explorer SIDEBAR background??

I'm completely baffled in the lack of information about skinning the left sidebar in Windows Explorer. All the folders are easily skinnable with backgroud images, and i DO know how to change the color (atleast) in the treeview window. But I really want to put background images in there. HOW can i do that without having to use fancy skinning progs?? (I only use StyleXP and none of those skins have bg images in the explorer sidebar). Is it even possible to do? Please help.

Not sure about Tree View but the mdi background image is skinnable through Windowblinds & Skinstudio. For Help with StyleXP you'll probably have to visit their forum.
