Will this week never end?

This has been, quite literally, the week from hell. And it's only Tuesday.

First, I got sick on Sunday. Cold turned sinus infection and ear infection. I can't breathe, I feel as though my head is going to explode, my throat is ripped to shreds, and my lungs are filling with fluid. Ok, so it may not be that bad... but that's how I feel.

Next, school is piling crap on me. I had a test on Monday, a paper due today, a test on Wednesday, a paper due Thursday and two papers due Friday. Can someone find out if my professors are doing this to me on purpose, or is this a coincidence?

Third... well, suffice to say, I have women troubles.

Last, I have no money. And by no money, I actually mean I have $2. 43. That isn't a lot, in case you didn't know.

I'm going back to writing my papers now. I just needed to blow off some steam... and whine.

I like college. I really do. Of course, I'll be glad to graduate in May.

I'm sorry. Sounds like my week a couple back . . . minus the "girl troubles", of course, since I'm packing different goodies . . .

Hope you make it through the week. Good luck, SHE!

Thanks SanChonino.

I just realized something... it is very difficult to take your temperature when you CAN'T BREATHE THROUGH YOUR NOSE! And don't even think about suggesting that I take my temperature like a baby, cause that ain't gonna happen.

I'm just going to let you vent.
I'm not going to try to fix you.
People accuse me of always trying to fix them.
(psst...go to the student health service, get a note and take the week off)
I did not say that.

As if that's worth shit or shinola to a teacher . . . nope. it's not.

And they're supposed to be understanding . . . I think I just laughed my face off onto the sticky floor.

I guess teachers in Canada are more gullible. University students here are always forking over $15 a pop to our clinic for the notes. Oh well...

I did go to student health services. Trust me, I went the first day I could. I did use my illness to get out of choir. Unfortunately, I can't get out of the rest of my classes. I have to go, or I'll be behind.

I may use my illness to get out of choir again on Thursday. Unfortunately, we're only allowed two sick days... and to use them in the same week could be a bad thing.

And, yeah, my teachers really don't care. And my sickness is also not enough for them to say, "You can turn your paper in late... that's ok honey." In fact, a trip to the hospital with aliens coming out of my nose would not be enough to get me out of writing my papers. For that matter, an alien abduction would probably not be enough.

Plus, our clinic doesn't provide notes. They have big signs telling us they don't provide notes for class, which is rather unfair since most teachers require some kind of documentation. I've gotten to where I make copies of my prescriptions and bring those to the teachers. They may not want to know what I'm taking, but that's what they get for wanting a note.

Try those new forehead thermometers.
