OD+ 1.5 on Vista - No icons in System Tray tab

Hi,

I purchased ObjectDock Plus v1.5 and installed it on Vista. It works fine with one exception. I want to hide the windows taskbar but still to be able to see the icons in the system tray.

I created the System Tray tab in one of my docks but it is empty.

After looking through the messages in the forum the only solution I could find was to make sure that sdmcp is running (although I think this is a solution for XP, not Vista). Even with sdmcp running (it is listed as an active process in task manager) the system tray tab still does not display any icons.

Does anybody know if there is a solution for this problem in Vista? I would appreciate any ideas / solutions you might have.

Thank you

I forgot to add this info: according to Stardock's Windows Vista Road-Map
WWW Link "If you have ObjectDock 1.5, you have the version that already runs on Windows Vista."

System tray functionality does not work in Vista yet.  That aspect of Stardocks programs is being re-engineered, and hasnt been completed yet.  I too, am waiting on that functionality to complete my OD experience.

I'm still running XP pro, but having same problem. Since updating to v1.5 all the icons in my system tray tab have disappeared. Since this is on of the features that persuaded me to purchase the Plus version, I'm bummed.

Unfortunately, even though I have auto-archive checked in Stardock Central, there is no archive of this program to restore. Anyone know where I can find an older version to install?!!!

Thanks

Your Self...Did you uninstall a free version first?....if not you must uninstall both..restart..then reinstall via Stardock Central....It must be installed via Stardock Central in order to be able to archive...just went through this myself
