AI still not researching plague cure under 1.5X

I just got this event in my current game. It's a good ways into the game (2233), it's been about 20 turns since the event hit, and everyone's populaiton is still dropping like a stone (except mine, of course, I researched the thing in three turns). Any chance of getting this annoying little glitch fixed?

Edit: Nevermind, the AI was just slow about it, but they did ultimately research it.

AI still not researching plague cure under 1.5X

In my game Altarians and Arceans do. Others seem to want to finish their current research, before researching the cure. The problem is their current research takes up to 20 turns to complete (slowest tech, no tech trade, large uni game).

I've noticed this too. The last time the plague hit one of my games, it was the Altarians that researched the cure first, followed by the terrans. And looking at the population, it seemed that a couple of the civs never researched the cure.

Oh, interesting. Well like I said, I gave is about 20 turns and we're all functioning under the "accelerated research "event on a large galaxy so I couldn't fathom why it'd take them so long. I guess I'll wait a bit longer. The AI's in question are the Thalans, Korath, and Yor.

Yeah, I finally had the Korath and THalans turn it around. The Yor were already dead, since they took too long and I decided to seize their empire.

Anyway, false alarm, disregard OP.
