SNOWED IN! (I think)

So I shoveled the driveway. And the martyr that I am, of course I had to take a picture.

I'd hoped to make a quick run to the store before the kids woke up. I wanted to buy ingredients to spend the whole day cooking one recipe after another. I wanted to go to the store yesterday (my mothering / feeding instincts must have been all abuzz for me to prepare to be snowed in. ]
The job was about 90% finished when my body began to tell me to stop. Knowing that I'm a breastfeeding mommy and have to take it easy in order to keep my milk supply flowing, I stopped. Was getting a little woozy and light-headed too. Bummed though because there's still a good 5' to go of 1' deep snow. I can't get the car out until it gets shoveled. And I have no idea what's going on in the outside world because we've been holed up all week. Partially by choice, but not entirely. My brother, whose job it is to shovel, will sleep until 10am today, just like any other day. But now the kids are up and my brother who's supposed to be helping me with the kids is sound asleep. Ho hum.
So I stand here typing with one hand because I can't get both my hands around my baby in her baby bjorn...toddler is beginning to ransack the house.
Snowed in. Ugh.
Worse still, preschool has been canceled the last few days because of the snow, so I've been trapped at home with him trying to keep him busy. Ugh.
