yahoo messenger crashing when i browse my computer

My yahoo messenger crashes whenever I call up a browse window. For example, saving or sending files, changing display pics or audibles... anything where i have to choose a location on my computer. It doesn't crash with right clicking or anything else. I thought i had a conflict between windowblinds and yahoo messenger (vers.8), but the fixes didn't work. I disabled visual themes on yahoo's end, and excluded messenger in the per application of windowblinds... still crashes. I do have the full object desktop, is there any other conflict i need to address other than windowblinds?

are you updating via stand alone download or through SDC browser?

ok, i uninstalled, downloaded a new SDC, reinstalled WB (with all the reboots) and yahoo still freezes, even if i have WB unloaded. Maybe it's not a conflict with windowblinds at all?

look in the yahoo folder again - if you only excluded on yahoo app and there are more exes, try excluding all of them.

from past posts, yahoo has an issue with being skinned.
I think Neil said once the WB was set to auto exclude it by yahoo keeps changing stuff so the auto exclude doesn't work

Yahoo excluded, WB unloaded.... maybe it's just Yahoo

In general if an app has a problem and WB is not running, WB is probably not the reason for the problem.
