Black menus and contextual menu in explorer

Hi guys,

I really hope the answer to my problem is not somewhere else in the forums because I searched for an hour.

I just bought WB5.5 and I have some "black problems". I don't have the whole UI in black but in explorer "just" some menus and the right-click menu, and sometimes the start menu (programs) appear in black.

WB tells me :
WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.5 (build 92 x86))

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC

WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC

Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

I have those problems on most of skins (originally included AND others downloaded) but not all...
Would someone have a solution please ?

A couple of my files have differing dates and your missing wbload.dll. I'd suggest Unistall > Reboot > download and install Stardock Central Here > reboot > download & install Windowblinds thru SDC > REBOOT.
If that doesn't work then repaste the info when your done.

If some guys have the same thing as me : I bought WB after having tested different visual enhancement tools and it seems Y'z Shadow and WB are not what you could call friends. I deactivated Y'z Shadow and it seems now all is fine.

Glad your up and running.
That's the second program I've seen that seems to conflict.......I'll have to track down that other thread so I can start a list.

you sleuth you , SD should go thru and see how many submitting artists are actual customers.. you know..for ****'s and giggles?

If you report naughtines using the first icon an email goes to that forums mods and WC admins with a link to the reported post and the reporters comments for whatever attention is requiered. 

The Trolling or Insightful rating has no effect right now but has some effect on JU points.

vStyler ? Are my account settings better now ? I just installed Stardock Central and created a new account taking in account the fact I purchased WindowsBlinds and ObjectDock Plus.

Anyway

I made a test just to be sure. On my notebook, I installed WB...all was fine. Then I installed Y'z Shadow and then -> black menus, black start menu . So don't mix the two if you would have the idea. I just forgot to uninstall it before buying WB

unfortunately I can't get to WC from here to walk you through it but,

if you go to 'my account' (actually your account) - and poke around in there, you'll find an option to cross reference your Wincustomze Account with your Stardock account

Fedmahn, I aplogize for being a bit rude but due to some bad folks with cracked copies of WB came across for asking help on the same issue.

Generally it is like who has purchased a product, is listed as "Current/Past Customer" and those without any products bought are listed as "Visitor."

i have a problem too.. first, lol, i dunno how to make a thread x) and second.. i just formated my comp and installed windows xp again and installed again wb.. skins doesnt work, it just make my comp look like 98 and everywere is some black spots, whats the problem? i've uptated all of my system, but it doesnt seems to work..

Edit: do i have to chance my windows look before installing new skin? it looks like when i put it look like 98 from windows settings, something works in wb, but still not working

well it says same like this thread maker, if i remember right.. im not in my comp atm so i cant watch, but it didnt say, that there is a problem.
