Can we have control of SysButton animation?

Sure would be nice!

The only "feature" of WB that bugs me is the Default System Button animation - I'd really like skinners & users to have control over it. Personally, I'd like to disable it, but being able to at least control the frame rate would be nice.

This came up shortly after the default button animation was implemented & control was requested in a few posts at the time, but haven't heard anything about it since. I'd certainly be grateful if control of that feature was incorporated into WBConfig.

Thanks.

I'm with you...its a neat effect unless your buttons use totally different font colors.

On some skins, that animation is extremely annoying. I'd love to be able to disable it completely.

OK, that's 3 of us - a beginning, anyway.

Thanks.

I could deal with it if the text colors and style changed with it.But yes disabling it should be an option.

i posted about this sometime back but apparently stardock thinks it's so cool they ignore the paying user base. why even allow the default to be skinned if window blinds is going to add its own unwanted effect to it? it's annoying!

I don't think it's a matter of SD "ignoring" some groundswell of protest - the number of people who've asked about this is fairly small, after all.

Nonetheless, I'd think it would be relatively simple to keep that as default behavior (if SD desires) but incorporate an option to disable or modify it in WBConfig (or SkinStudio), for those of us who find it distracting.

Did you know that there is a color in between blue and orange that can easily be called....vomit.

Can someone explain this more for me. I don't know what this "Default System Button animation " is.

Bushman, Open display properties. Look at the "OK" button. You will see it animating. We cannot control that.

This is something that is being considered for future versions of WB.

Thanks for the heads up, Neil. Looking forward to that in the next beta.
